In this PowerPoint video, COO Colleen Graber shares a set of results from a Child Care Policy Research Partnership between Public Policy Associates and two state agencies in Michigan. This study focused on how the child care policy changes affected families and child care providers who participated in the state’s child care assistance program, or the Child Development and Care Scholarship program. This is also sometimes referred to as a child care subsidy. This presentation answers the question the State had about why some families who were approved for the scholarship did not end up using it to obtain child care. The video is below.
