Trends in the U.S. Child Care Subsidy Program

In this webinar we discussed long-term trends in the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) subsidy eligibility and utilization by race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status across all fifty states. Employing data on state subsidy use, child care eligibility rules, and demographic characteristics, the PPA team presented how eligibility for child care subsidies has evolved since the Great Recession, as well as long-term trajectories in equity of access to subsidies.

This webinar was supported by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) of the United States (U.S.) Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award (Grant #: 90YE0281) totaling $99,885 with 100 percent funded by ACF/HHS.
