Virginia Orabone
About
Over its 35-year history, Virginia Orabone played a pivotal role in supporting PPA through strategic leadership and financial stewardship. After joining the firm in 2005 as the director of business management, she spent nearly a decade refining its operations as CFO and part-owner before co-acquiring the company from founder Jeffrey Padden in August 2014. Her commitment to the firm eventually led her to become the sole owner, during which she navigated the industry’s complexities and maintained the firm’s reputation. By overseeing the transition to new leadership in 2022, Orabone ensured that the foundation she helped build would sustain PPA’s mission well into the future.
With over 40 years of experience leading financial operations for small to medium-sized organizations, she brought a unique perspective to the firm’s fiscal accountability. Her deep expertise in contract administration and government compliance ensured that PPA remained a trusted partner in the consulting landscape. By implementing accounting systems and project budgeting practices, Orabone’s focus on internal controls and fiscal responsibility did more than just manage costs; it provided the long-term stability and strategic clarity necessary for the firm to thrive for decades.
