Robbie Linden
About
As a consultant, Dr. Linden brings to PPA a background in higher education research and analysis, as well as around data management. Dr. Linden’s expertise showcases the impact that data can have around higher education, painting a picture of need both from the perspective of the student as well as that of the college.
Since 2021, Dr. Linden has served as a research fellow with the Wheelhouse: The Center for Community College Leadership and Research where he conducts quasi-experimental analysis and manages large administrative datasets (on topics including demographics, enrollment, and outcomes of students in community colleges in California). He also teaches a workshop in data management for graduate students interested in community college data. Clients appreciate his strong background in research, grant management, data management, and data analysis around higher education, both nationally and on the state-level.
Education
He received his Ph.D. in Education and his M.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of California, Davis. Before that he received his B.A. in public policy from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Linden also has had research publications around higher education, including an evaluation of how student financial aid receipt was influenced by the Student-Centered Funding Formula and research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on student enrollment.
