Meg Chamberlin

Dr. Chamberlin is a social scientist and leader with 15 years of experience in public service, research and consulting. She is a seasoned, multi-disciplinary researcher with experience leading quantitative and qualitative analyses, and a strong record for identifying, understanding, and incorporating cultural and social factors into her work.

Dr. Chamberlin excels at strategic planning and project management. From 2020 to 2023, she served as an associate partner for Imaginative Futures, a research and design firm helping leaders visualize, articulate, and achieve their desired future. From 2014 to 2020, she was an assistant policy researcher for the RAND Corporation, while also completing her doctoral work.

Prior to RAND, she was a health economist for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in what is now the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response, which leads the nation’s medical and public health efforts in disaster and emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.

In her dissertation Dr. Chamberlin sought to find ways to improve the experiences of people with chronic health conditions by understanding them from a social-ecological perspective. Her work identified several key cultural factors that differentiated experiences and outcomes for people with behavioral (as opposed to physical) health conditions.
