Kristin Harrington

Kristin Harrington is an accomplished executive and strategist with more than 15 years of experience leading mission-driven organizations, scaling initiatives, and advising leaders across nonprofit, public, and private sectors. She is known for transforming vision into execution, building high-performing teams, and delivering measurable results. Grounded in a deep commitment to collaboration and excellence, she thrives on helping teams achieve clarity, momentum, and lasting impact.

Ms. Harrington is the founder of Handled, where she works alongside executives, teams, and organizations to turn strategy into execution. She’s not just a consultant; she’s a trusted partner who brings clarity, momentum, and results to the table. With a reputation for being both deeply collaborative and relentlessly effective, she’s helped nonprofits, public agencies, and purpose-driven companies move from idea to impact — faster and with greater confidence.

Over the past 15 years, she has worn many hats: teacher, executive, founder, consultant, and strategist, working with Lead Star, Strategic Solution Partners, and Youth Solutions, Inc. She led the growth of Youth Solutions from a regional initiative into a $7M+ statewide nonprofit, coached leaders at every level through her work with a national leadership development firm, and built a career rooted in operational excellence and values-driven leadership. She also worked at Kinexus Group, where she was Senior Director of Talent, Director of Workforce, Director of Resource Acquisition.

Ms. Harrington is passionate about helping leaders get out from under the weight of overwhelming responsibilities and back to doing the work that brings them joy. She believes great consulting isn’t about adding more — it’s about taking things off the plate. That’s why she built Handled to be different: a partner who doesn’t just advise but actually executes.

Education

Ms. Harrington received her MBA from the University of Michigan-Flint and an MS Ed from Dominican University. Prior to that, she received her BA in Psychology and Women Studies from the University of Michigan.
