Craig Van Vliet
About
Craig Van Vliet brings strong quantitative skills to his research, including experience in data management, survey design, and regression analysis. He is working on projects across policy areas at PPA.
Prior to joining Public Policy Associates, Mr. Van Vliet was a data manager for the Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he worked for the epidemiology core in the Department of Oncology. He also worked as a marketing research specialist at DFCU Financial. His work included designing and analyzing customer surveys, performing post-hoc tests to measure marketing campaign effectiveness, and creating predictive models for forecasting.
Clients benefit from Mr. Van Vliet’s interdisciplinary work experience. He has worked in the fields of medicine, banking, market research, sociology, and economics.
Education
Mr. Van Vliet has a bachelor’s degree in economics, with a double minor in statistics and mathematics, from Grand Valley State University. He has a master’s degree in economics with an emphasis on econometrics from Wayne State University.
