Christina Sansone

Christina Sansone has worked in applied qualitative research for over 20 years, starting in market research and shifting to public health mixed methods approaches. She focuses on complex, multi-agency program and policy implementation and implementation evaluation initiatives that include community, government and academic partners.

She is currently a Senior Program Manager at the University of Illinois System, where she is overseeing the development of the Cannabis Research Institute (CRI).

Ms. Sansone leverages her implementation experience to apply a practical lens to evaluation that explores fidelity and the contextual factors that influence real-world implementation, program adjustments, ability to realize impact and outcome measures, and true program costs. Her approach is people-centered, data-informed, rooted in collaboration, and focuses on equity.

Education

Ms. Sansone received both a Master of Public Health and a BS in Nutrition Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also received a BA in Marketing Communications from Columbia College in Chicago.
