Alissa Parks

About

Ms. Parks focuses on early childhood systems and has additional experience in the areas of housing, education, workforce, child welfare, and criminal justice. She is also an experienced administrator with extensive experience in planning, budgeting, and process implementation.

Her expertise in training, coaching, and facilitation helps individuals and groups to explore and address issues while working toward their goals.

She has served in a variety of roles with the Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC), including director of operations, training and technical assistance manager, and senior director of training and technical assistance. She has also provided consultation, coaching, facilitation, and training for public, nonprofit, and private companies on human resource and organizational-related topics.

Clients benefit from Ms. Parks’ ability to communicate complex topics into applicable and relevant information for a wide variety of audiences.

Education

Ms. Parks has a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Saginaw Valley State University. She received her human resources certification from Michigan State University and is certified in Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools by The Thinking Collaborative.

Ms. Parks served as a school board trustee from July 2021 to December 2022.
