Public Policy Associates has launched a re-branding for the company that creates a new look that reflects renewed energy and ambition for growth.

“Fashions evolve, communication styles evolve, even what is perceived as professional evolves,” said PPA CEO Rob Fowler. “We think our new brand honors the past and recognizes our good reputation, but also projects a more contemporary look and feel.”

PPA was launched in 1991 as a small, independent research firm with a couple of Lansing employees and a few Michigan clients. Today, its work and workforce are spread across the country.

The rebranding preserves the PPA name and colors (the blue is darker), while providing a more modern and professional design as the company competes for clients and talent on a national level. While PPA has had national clients for many years, its transformation into a virtual company positions the company to broaden its client base, expand its talent pool, and develop new partnerships.

“Four of the last five people we have hired don’t live in Michigan,” Fowler explained. “So increasingly, we are a workforce that is more diverse, and more spread geographically. We believe that our updated brand projects the professional, contemporary, and national organization that we are today.”

The launch of the new brand began in mid-November and is expected to be complete by about Dec. 1. It includes a new web site, which you can see at publicpolicy.com. “All of our reports and every deliverable that is written or electronic will carry the new brand,” Mr. Fowler said.

The rebranding will also include a new banner at the front of PPA’s office at 119 Pere Marquette Dr. in Lansing.
