Public Policy Associates, Inc. (PPA) is pleased to announce that Daniel Quinn, Ph.D., has joined PPA as a project manager.
Dr. Quinn’s skills in working across sectors to develop research questions, conduct research, and translate findings to help shape policy align well with PPA’s mission. He has experience in strategic planning, evaluation, funding, and dissemination of a nationally recognized education policy research agenda.
“We are very pleased to have Dr. Quinn join PPA. In addition to his rich background in education and research, he brings experience with collaborative efforts, strategic planning, and issues of equity. His expertise will complement PPA’s existing team and will be of great benefit to our clients,” said PPA’s Vice President, Colleen Graber.
Prior to joining PPA, Dr. Quinn served as executive director for the Great Lakes Center for Education Research and Practice, where he oversaw the research agenda. He was a high school economics teacher for 19 years and has also been an adjunct professor at the University of Louisville teaching educational policy.
Dr. Quinn earned his doctorate degree in educational leadership from Oakland University. He has written and presented on diverse educational topics, including school discipline policies, teacher shortages, district leadership, and teacher evaluation.
