Public Policy Associates, Inc. (PPA) researchers will be presenting at the Michigan Association for Evaluation (MAE) 22nd annual conference April 6. The focus of this year’s conference is evaluation and social justice. MAE is a voluntary organization devoted to educating the public about the science and use of evaluation. The organization includes evaluators, funders, and program users.
Dr. Nancy McCrohan and Nathalie Winans are presenting at the conference. The title of the presentation is Culturally Proficient Evaluation of Food Security and Nutrition Education Programming.
The session will highlight a program that addresses access to nutrition for food insecure populations and the culturally proficient evaluation design supporting it. Attendees will learn about pragmatic research methods, and the ability to obtain concise data without sacrificing data quality or research questions.
