Public Policy Associates, Inc. Project Manager Daniel J. Quinn will speak at a University of Michigan forum on teaching in Michigan as part of the university’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute After 5 Lecture Series.
Dr. Quinn will discuss teacher recruitment, retention, and development, as well as teacher preparation, recruiting teachers of color, and equitable access to excellent educators. The forum is on December 5 in Ann Arbor. You can read more about it here.
Dr. Quinn has a doctorate degree in educational leadership from Oakland University. His dissertation was on teacher incentives, and he has published work on teacher shortages and principal recruitment. Before joining PPA, he was executive director of the Great Lakes Center for Education Research and Practice.
