Ms. Graber presented major findings of the Rethinking Job Search program evaluation with Susan Barksdale, director of human potential at Incite Inc. and David Gerstenfeld, unemployment insurance division director at the Oregon Employment Department. The conference is attended by staff and leaders within the workforce development system. Attendees were exposed to programs and ideas from around the country.
Rethinking Job Search is a program developed by Incite, Inc. and is funded by a Workforce Innovation Fund grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. The purpose of this project is to rebuild job-seeker confidence, motivation, and accountability for rapid re-employment through a series of cognitive-behavioral workshops.
